Chester Students’ Union wants YOUR views to help shape its future

Posted on

Chester Students’ Union is currently busy working towards a brand-new strategy and is calling out to all students at the University to help inform the direction it will take.

To canvas as many views and ideas as possible, the Union is running a series of focus groups next week to gain an insight into how the team can better engage with and represent all students across the University. The sessions are as follows:

  • Warrington Campus students –10am, Monday, January 25
  • University Centre Shrewsbury students – 1pm, Monday, January 25
  • Parkgate Road Campus students – 11am, Tuesday, January 26
  • Queens Park Campus students – 10am, Wednesday, January 27
  • Creative Campus, Kingsway students – 1pm, Wednesday, January 27
  • Riverside Campus students – 4.30pm, Thursday, January 28.

CSU is also running a session at 1pm on Friday, January 29, for BAME students across all campuses as the elected officers want to have an additional space where they can discus representation at the Union and gain insight on how they can better support BAME students in the future.

To register, message Susie Phillips, Democracy and Insight Co-ordinator, at s.phillips@chester.ac.uk by Sunday, 24th January to sign up.
